Looks rundown…. The tables not very clean… but ok…. Gave it a try. We ordered ayam bakar and ayam penyet. Requested for thigh meat instead of breast meat. The staff nodded his head ok. Then omg breast meat was served. And it was so dry…… drier than sahara desert wth. I don’t usually waste food but I had to waste this whole thing because it was just sooooo horrendous. :”( NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!! 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Ayam Penyet is very dry but the squid and dori fish dishes are juicy and yummy. Good prices considering everything listed is Nett price with GST and service charge included.

Good Ayam Penyet Had lunch here one day. Had the Ayam Penyet. It is their best seller and their best dish. And it lived up to expectations. Chicken was tender and chilli was a killer. However, the chendol and the coffee pulled down the food rating to a 3 from a 4.5. There is only one service staff but she was reasonably efficient and attentive. The place is very simply decorated but it’s ok cos the prices are reasonable for the main meal.

Supposed to be open at 11am, they on the lights but locked the door. Keep us waiting outside. A father and daughter can’t wait and left, left 2 more pax waiting. You are losing business due to your punctuality. As I posted this, the other lady left, 1 more lady came and left after pulling the door. I hope the boss can review CCTV and see how many customers left. 15 mins delay, 4 loss customers and counting. Now 1121 and still not open😡

Love the ayam bakar over here, the marination is great and not that salty (would give it a 3.5 star) Ikan penyet and ayam penyet is average to me, just like the usual once you can get elsewhere, nothing much special. The sayur asam soup was a disappointment though, the soup is very bland and had a strong tap water taste to it, it's not even spicy or sour, it's tasted more like a bland vegetable soup or those packet aritifical soup and to make it worse, it was served lukewarm too, we couldn't even get ourselves to finish the soup. The restaurant indoor is quite stuffy and hot though and the ventilation is bad, the oil food smell covers the whole restaurant, we sat outside instead which is more cooling.

No need to wait. Food was fast upon orders. Sadly everything was cold, the entire dish was cold including the rice. I'm not lying or want to destroy the restaurant standard, reputation and rating, speaking to what I feel the dish that I've ordered. I wish I could give a better rating but I just can't lie to myself.
