Love their economic bee hoon. The chicken wings are nice too. Friendly aunties. Usually sold out by noon on weekends. After 2 years, the quality is still good. Not too oily, chicken wings are still tasty.

Hup Lee Economic Bee Hoon is a legendary fried bee hoon chain with an outlet at Woodlands North Plaza, continuing the legacy of founder Tan Boon Hai, who built the business from a single stall in Woodlands into a network of 90 outlets across Singapore at its peak. The brand is synonymous with affordable, comforting fried bee hoon — thin rice vermicelli stir-fried with a distinctive savoury flavour — accompanied by an array of sides such as crispy fried chicken wings, luncheon meat, fish cake, and fried egg, all offered at budget-friendly prices from to . The late Mr Tan started helping at his parents' bee hoon stall in Yishun as a child, and opened his own outlet in Woodlands after completing national service. Each plate of Hup Lee's bee hoon comes with the chain's signature chilli sauce, produced at its own factory alongside marinades and other condiments distributed to outlets islandwide. The brand's growth was remarkable — from three or four stalls in its early years to 90 stalls in a decade during the 2000s — and its presence at Woodlands North Plaza serves the neighbourhood that gave the chain its start. While the number of outlets has fluctuated in recent years, the core offering remains: straightforward, satisfying economic rice and bee hoon that feeds a community. For a plate of proper economic bee hoon in Woodlands, Hup Lee at North Plaza carries the weight of a hawker institution. It is comfort food at its most democratic and honest.Operating hours not available

Cheaper than 688 woodlands hup lee, but taste wise can't compare to yishun outlet. Size portion very generous, maybe bcos it was close to lunch time the seller was clearing food. Zero queue. Knocked off 2 stars because the chicken wing was undercooked inside, also didnt like the taste of the batter used.
