Halal Western grill chain serving chargrilled chicken chops and steaks at wallet-friendly prices.
Backyard Griller is a halal Western grill chain that has been serving affordable chargrilled meats since 2008, originally trading under the name Broadway Western. Specialising in chargrilled chicken chops — available in signature, black pepper, cheesy, and garlic fix variations — the stall also offers an extensive menu of steaks, salmon, spring chicken, pasta, fried rice, and seafood combos. Every plate comes with a choice of sides including straight-cut fries, mashed potato, coleslaw, sauteed mushrooms, and baked beans, making for a hearty, complete meal that punches well above its price point. The brand has multiple outlets across Singapore, including locations in Ang Mo Kio, Tampines, and Punggol, all operating from 11am to 10pm. With prices in the S to S5 range, it is a popular choice for students, families, and anyone craving a proper Western grill meal without the restaurant price tag. Dine-in and takeaway are available, with delivery offered through foodpanda and other platforms. Great grills, honest prices — Backyard Griller brings the backyard barbecue to your plate. Visit any outlet and savour the chargrilled flavour that has kept fans coming back for over 15 years.
That guy with short hair, small eyes, some tattoo on his left arm needs to find some backend job instead of talking to customers. One of the rudest person I encountered, was contemplating whether to throw the food back at his face when he was talking to me.

Ordered a takeaway in the evening. The staff at stall was unfriendly, arrogant when taking order. Didn’t bother to inform me when food was ready just leaving it at the counter though I was standing at the stall. Kept waiting for another 5 minutes then told me to take the food away. black pepper chicken I ordered was not fully cooked on some portion. Need to microwave to make it fully cook.

Used to be a loyal customer. Size of portion and quality dropped significantly. Rude service. Will stop buying from today onwards. Hopeless.

The guy at the shop is super rude. I waited for a few mins for him to take my order as he was busy cooking. So I waited patiently without even calling out to him. Then he just turns at me and shouts "What you want?". Like who serves a customer like that.
I told him my order and he didn't acknowledge and continued his stuff. I had to repeat and ask him again. Then he keyed it in and just turned away again.
I made the payment via scan to pay and asked him if he had gotten it. Without replying he just threw the pager in the counter and said 20 mins!!!
Like why would you have a stall or work in one when you don't know how to even talk to people? I'm not asking for dine dining experience, but basic manners???
