This is the Halloween weekend chapter of Detention After Dark. Bedok Reservoir already did The First Assembly. Bukit Batok did The Night Walk. Khatib is the finale, and Frontline magazine said it has the most scare zones of all three clubs: four, with live actors, unlimited re-entries at the same ticket price.
The club sits on Yishun Walk, a short walk from Khatib MRT NS14. It is not Northpoint City and not Canberra Plaza. Those malls keep their own Halloween calendars. If you came north for a dated night that is not a mall atrium, this is the one still on the clock.
Faii AJ Huda, Officer, Events at HomeTeamNS Khatib, told Frontline on 1 October 2026: the school day spirals into a living nightmare, four scare zones stand between you and the exit, and the advice is simple, do not look back. That is the scare-zone pitch. The same night also runs carnival games, face painting, a piñata, spooky crafts, and snacks. Trick-or-treat is 7pm to 8pm at every clubhouse, including Khatib. Haunted mazes still have dark corridors, loud effects, and sudden scares. Parents can read the age tip outside each zone before they send a child in.
Tickets are the same at all three clubs and already include 9 percent GST. A single is $22 for HomeTeamNS members, $30 for affiliates and social members, $35 for guests. A duo is $33, $48, and $59. A party of five is $71, $109, and $131. Children aged 3 and below enter free. Tickets start from age 4. Under-12s in scare zones need a supervising adult. Guardian consent is required under 21. HomeTeamNS members earn double +HPoints on every dollar spent. The first 150 pre-registered guests at each clubhouse get a pumpkin goodie bag. Book at hmns.men/spooktober-26-early-bird. Walk-in tickets depend on leftover capacity. Official terms say purchases are final and non-refundable.
Haze can still kill a night. HomeTeamNS watches the official 1-hour PM2.5 reading. Band 1 and 2, below 151, and doors open at 5pm. Band 3, 151 and above at 4pm, and the start delays one hour. If the reading is still Band 3 past 8pm, that day's session is cancelled. Ticket holders can use the next event day. For Khatib that next day is 1 November if 31 October dies, and there is no third night. Check the club's Facebook before you leave the house. Rain is different. The event runs rain or shine. Almost all activities and haunted attractions are indoors.
Peak queues for the scare zones sit between 7pm and 9pm, which is also trick-or-treat hour. Go earlier if the mazes are the point. Last useful arrival is well before 11pm. Parking is first come, first served. Khatib MRT is the better bet on Halloween Saturday. Club facilities such as T-Play stay open, though routes may shift for the crowd. Most F&B counters want contactless payment. Outside food is generally not allowed.
Costumes are welcome if they stay family-safe. Leave sharp props, realistic toy weapons, and bulky gear at home. Photographers will be on site for HomeTeamNS publicity. Step out of a shot if you do not want to be in it. The medical declaration on the booking form flags pregnancy, heart conditions, sudden scares, loud sound, and flashing lights. Read that before you pay.
Eat after at Yishun Park Hawker Centre, 51 Yishun Avenue 11, if you want a stall meal instead of carnival snacks. SAFRA Yishun is the next block north if you are already in 义顺 for Deepavali displays the same weekend. Sembawang Hot Spring Park is still listed closed until 30 October 2026, so do not stack a soak onto Halloween night unless NParks has flipped the park page that morning.
